quittum for your computer
A double-click installs quittum. On the first launch an assistant shows what is still missing: you install Ollama and the Tesseract text recognition following its guidance, and quittum then downloads the AI model (about 2.5 GB) itself — after that it no longer needs the internet.

Windows 10 and 11 · 64-bitOn the first launch, macOS and Windows will ask. quittum is not yet notarised by Apple or signed with Microsoft; the signatures will follow. Until then: on the Mac, drag quittum from the DMG into “Applications” and on the first launch right-click → “Open” (macOS 13 and 14) or System Settings → “Privacy & Security” → “Open Anyway” (macOS 15 and newer). On Windows, in the SmartScreen window choose “More info” → “Run anyway”.

After installation
You get a licence file by e-mail. Select it in quittum under “Lizenz” — that's it. There is no activation and no sign-up.
Without a licence, quittum runs in full for 30 days. After that, viewing, searching, asking and exporting remain possible; only new receipts are processed again once there is a licence.
